A typically Edwardian design of wrought iron bench, as can be seen in a number of catalogues in the Lost Art Archive. The flowing lines of the bench provide an elegant appearance, which is allied to high standards in specification and construction. making this an ideal bench for use in public spaces where a classic and historic appearance will be appreciated. originally produced for the restoration project at Wentworth Castle (along with a number of our Coalbrookdale design cast iron and timber, Horse Chestnut benches. There are now examples of this design at a number of prestige locations throughout the UK.

Crossthwaite

Unique to Lost Art and available now. Developed from our popular Cartmel bench which currently adorns a number of regeneration projects including Royal Parks.

Constructed in riveted wrought iron, the Crossthwaite features flowing bench supports and rounded metal slats. The length, gauge and finish of benches all accord with client requirements.

The Crossthwaite can also be adapted to non-linear configurations, including circular tree seating.

Rocklands

Drawing inspiration from the classic wrought iron benches of the Edwardian Period, this bench has been specially designed for placing in private gardens. With appropriate care, the sweeping lines and curves of the bench will provide pleasure and service for generations to come.

Produced in a medium gauge wrought iron with shaped slats, the seat is shaped for support and comfort and for whiling away the hours contemplating the beauty of your own space.

This bench is specified to resist damage and corrosion, providing for ease of maintenance and longevity.

Available as a single seat, two-seater or 3 seat bench, the design can be adapted to include or remove the flowing curved arms. Similarly, longer benches can either incorporate or leave out a middle arm rest according to customer requirements.

The same design of bench is also available with shaped timber slats, rather than the wholly metal option of the Rocklands.
